Nancy May Have Seen an Angel

Nancy went to California in November to see her son, and while there, went for a walk. It was a beautiful day to walk and commune with Jesus, and she walked until suddenly she realized she needed to be home and she was lost.

Just then her friend Jane called. "Jane, pray for me! I need to get back to Tim's home quickly." 

Jane prayed, "Dear Jesus, please send an angel to help Nancy find her way."

Immediately after Jane prayed, a woman appeared behind her. The lady noticed Nancy looked puzzled and asked what she needed.

"I'm from out of town and went for a walk while visiting my son," Nancy told her. "Now I do not know where his house is and I don't remember his address."

When Nancy asked her where she was going, the woman replied, "I'm just walking with you."

The woman walked with Nancy for about fifteen minutes until they came to a row of homes that looked like her son's. Nancy said they all looked alike. The woman suggested she try her key in one that might be her son's. The key fit and Nancy hugged the lady good-bye before hurrying inside.

Could this have been one of those times Psalm 91:11 was fulfilled: "For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways"? If so, surely there was joy in Heaven over this opportunity for an angel to guard Nancy.

Thank You, Jesus, that You are not limited to our ideas of how to answer our prayers.

"Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?" (Hebrews 1:14).
