A Joyful Thought

Margaret Therkelsen tells in Realizing the Presence of the Holy Spirit of
reading the account in Revelation 7 of Jesus as being Lord of all. All nations, people, and tongues were worshiping and singing praises to Him.

She worshiped and in a deep sense entered into the worship and praise of Jesus.

As this tremendous sense of love and praise began to fade from her heart, she heard the Holy Spirit say something unexpected: "Margaret, you will actually bow before him one day, but for now I don't want all your thoughts of Jesus to be external, outside of yourself. I want you to come to a deepening reality of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit within you at this present time.'

She wrote, "I realized I had been too focused on God as being outside of me, and not enough on God within me." The thought that we are to become more aware of the Holy Spirit within us has been a joyful thought to me.

Dear Jesus, help me not to ignore Your Spirit within me.

"He that dwelleth with you shall be in you" (John 14:17).

Today's Prayer Request
Pray that all who received help at the conference will “put on the whole armor of God, that they may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil” (Eph. 6:11).
